Life is the
cricket, where he comes to bat.
He has to face
the bowler and guard the wicket.
There are ten
on the field to make him out.
There are
thousands to cheer when he hits fours.
There are
thousands who wait for his downfall.
His own partner
too can make him run out.
He might become
the victim of the umpire.
Yet he finds it
a thrill to be on the crease.
